Moldavite – Hedgehog from Besednice with open bubble

When this moldavite hit the Earth millions of years ago, it probably cracked. There was a bubble inside that may have reduced its strength. Then when it was covered in sediment, it broke in two.
So this moldavite shows the inside of a rather large bubble. Another interesting thing is the different surface texture at the fracture point. It’s not as pronounced as the rest of the moldavite surface.
Unfortunately, the other part of the moldavite could not be found. There must have been other movements of the sediment and the moldavite got a little further away.
